Hey my lovelies <33
Today I want to share with you my review of the Kylie Cosmetics Hair & Body Mist trio: Vanilla Dew, Caramel Cloud, and Sweet Éclair. These are those kinds of fragrances that sit somewhere between perfume and a little self-care ritual — light, wearable, and made for layering all over hair and skin.
I tried all three and here’s my honest, unfiltered take:
Sweet Éclair
Let’s start with the first one I reached for — Sweet Éclair, and honestly, I kind of fell in love instantly.
In most descriptions, this mist is all about a gourmand dessert fantasy: think warm pastry vibes, creamy vanilla, soft caramel drizzle, and sugary sweetness wrapped into one cozy scent. It leans heavily into that fresh bakery, just walked out with a box of sweets mood.
And I’ll say it straight — it’s a very sweet fragrance. For me it feels like cotton candy dipped in vanilla cream, with that addictive sugary depth that makes you keep sniffing your wrist without realizing it.
But here’s the twist: on hot summer days, it can feel a bit heavy.
Vanilla Dew
If Sweet Éclair is dessert shop energy, Vanilla Dew is more like soft milky morning light through a clean window.
From what it’s generally described as, this mist opens with a fresh airy vanilla note, often blended with hints of almond milk, soft musk, and a slightly dewy freshness that makes it feel lighter than a typical vanilla scent.
The first time I tried it, I was genuinely surprised. Vanilla is usually not my thing at all. But this one had a brightness that caught me off guard.
Then something interesting happened: once it settled on my skin, it transformed. The freshness slowly melted into a soft, milky vanilla with almond-like warmth.
And I’ll be honest — this style of scent just isn’t for me. It’s extremely soft and creamy. But if you love vanilla in its pure, cozy, skin-like form, this one will probably feel like a dream.
Caramel Cloud
It’s often described as a warm caramel gourmand with popcorn-like sweetness, layered with buttery sugar and soft vanilla undertones. Imagine walking into a cinema and instead of just popcorn smell… it’s been turned into a fluffy, sweet, caramelized cloud floating around you.
That description is sooo accurate.
It is very sweet, very edible, very wow. The caramel note is loud in the best way — sweet, golden, almost slightly toasted.
It's not my scent, but it's definitely veery nice.
That said, if you are someone who lives for intense gourmand fragrances, this is absolutely your playground. It’s fun, bold, and unapologetically dessert-like.
Final thoughts
This trio really shows three different sides of gourmand fragrance:
Sweet Éclair is cute and playful sugary dessert fantasy
Vanilla Dew is so soft and gentle, it's milky vanilla
Caramel Cloud is bold caramel popcorn sweetness explosion
And actually… I ended up choosing Sweet Éclair as my everyday scent. And now I reach for it almost every single day — even when I’m just sitting at my desk working on my computer. There’s something about that sweet, cozy cloud of scent that just makes the day feel a little more fun and soft around the edges.
Fragrance is such a personal universe — what feels too much for me might be exactly perfect for someone else.
If you’ve tried any of these, I’d genuinely love to know how they wear on you 🤍
